Almost all operating systems of Windows 2000 and later can upgrade basic disk to dynamic disk, but this conversion can not be reversed. That is, dynamic disk can not be directly converted to basic. If dynamic disk is converted back, it is necessary to delete all volumes on dynamic disk.
